Apache Zeppelin Release 0.12.1
The Apache Zeppelin community is pleased to announce the availability of the 0.12.1 release.
The community put significant effort into improving Apache Zeppelin since the last release.
129 tickets and several security issues are resolved. You can visit issue tracker for full list of issues that are resolved.
We encourage to download the latest release. Feedback through the mailing lists is very welcome.
Major Changes
- Fix several security issues (JWT validation, CVE-2024-31860 path traversal hardening, WebSocket memory leak fix)
- Web angular frontend upgrades (Angular 12 and Webpack 5 upgrade, strict template mode)
- Build CI and stability improvements (Windows build CI migration to GitHub Actions, E2E testing environment in New UI)
- Stability improvements across Spark, Flink, Python, Neo4j, and File interpreters
